The family and the many friends of Michelle offer their love and thanks for the enormous support they have received and has been poured into their hearts & homes. People gathered in huge numbers and filled St Alban’s on Monday for a moving and prayerful Requiem Mass. There were 7 priests concelebrating the mass and our Bishop John offered mass at Wardley Hall for Michelle. All my love and thanks to everyone involved and who helped in many ways to ‘oil the day’ .. and look after the people who came. I personally appreciate the support I was given by many.. love was everywhere.. before .. on Monday and I pray into the future.

We have to believe that God’s loving presence in our lives is something we share.. we bring our loving God to each other. We must show to the people of violence that we will hold together in faith, love & hugs…. We will rise up with God’s Spirit.. with his peace in our hearts, holding our deceased loved ones in our prayers: knowing that they are with our Father God and one day we will all be together for eternity. May she rest in peace. Amen

CARITAS MASS ON THURSDAY AT 10.30 HERE AT ST ALBAN’S CHURCH: The Diocesan Caritas (Rescue Society) have organised a mass to pray for their work and thank the school children for their help through ‘St Joseph’s Penny Collection’. I have been asked to lead the Mass. I am not sure of numbers.. but all are welcome especially if the Rescue Society rings a bell with you.

AMALGAMATION OF CHURCHES-- UPDATE:- We have already begun the process of creating 1 parish with 3 churches & communities. Please God the more we can do together as the months and years go by. Fr Jude thinks our situation here is more about ‘dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s’ than anything complicated. Leaflets for your ‘name’ suggestions for the overall name of the newly formed parish can be filled it in & return.   WE WILL HAVE A MEETING TO CONSIDER OPTIONS.

LET’S HELP THE PARISH FAMILYPlease pray about how each one of us can do more to
