Dear Everyone who was part of the Deanery Vocation Mass, thank you so much for helping to make the Deanery Vocations Mass such a success and blessing.  It was a huge team effort all round and it was wonderful to see the church so full of pupils, parishioners and priests.  Thank you for all you did in terms of promoting the mass and helping to contribute to it.  A lot of work was done by a lot of people and we have all been blessed by the celebration of vocation.
With thanks    God bless   Fr Ged Barry, Fr Frankie Mulgrew, Fr Kevin Murphy

LET’S HELP THE PARISH FAMILYPlease pray about how each one of us can do more to

strengthen the Parish family & the 3 Churches: We do need help in plenty of ways:

In Church:    Helping with the collection / welcoming people & handing out hymnbooks / Church Cleaning / Reading at Mass / Helping to distribute Holy Communion / Taking Holy Communion to our House bound or poorly parishioners……  we need ideas for times & ways of Prayer / Help with deepening our faith / a sense of outreach to people who could be interested in learning about our faith… list is pretty endless!!  More to come!!

GIFT AID ENVELOPES: Just a thought: They can be put into the Offertory collection in any of the 3 churches and they will ‘Find Their Way Home’ !! to the correct church!!

WANTED….PARISH YOUTH REPS…CAN YOU HELP!!

As part of the commitment to foster ministry for and with young people in our Diocese, we are seeking to recruit a Parish Youth Rep in every parish. We are looking for young adults (18-25) who are already a part of the parish and are passionate and confident about enabling/encouraging other young people to share in the life of the parish, deanery and diocese. It is hoped to find a parish youth rep for every parish, however a parish could have more than one!! Full training and support will be given and the Reps will be commissioned by Bishop John. The initial training day is on Saturday 27th May with precise details and venue to be confirmed.

MILLHILL MISSIONARIES RED BOXES

Your support from these boxes last year has helped build 88 churches , chapels and convents; supported training of 300 Missionaries; and provided support to many other essential needs of missionary work. There are still some Red Boxes at the back of church so please feel free to take one home or pop a donation into one of the boxes. Thanks.
